Beyond helpful reception staff. They were on hand to call taxis, even make change! They got us an iron promptly when we needed it, offered suggestions when asked, and spoke excellent English which helped us as we spoke almost no German. The decor of the hotel is fun and quirky - something to find around every corner. The bar on premises is great, and the dinner we had at their restaurant was fantastic. I would absolutely stay here again, and now want to check out their other locations!! My only note would be the layout of the shower and bathroom. When staying with friends - having the shower have no real privacy other than the glass door that closes (but isn't tinted or fogged), it feels like you're just naked in the middle of the room. Also practically speaking, it gets water on the floor a little too readily which can be slippery. I would at least add a privacy tint to the glass.

We had a delightful stay at this hotel, thanks to its excellent location. Just a 5-minute walk from Munich Central Station and a 10-minute walk to the city center and old town, it made exploring the city incredibly easy. The hotel boasts great decor and ambiance, adding to the overall pleasant experience. Our late check-in around midnight went smoothly, although our reserved room category wasn't available. The staff quickly fixed this by offering a smaller room and compensating with a complimentary breakfast, which turned out to be delicious. The hotel's cafe is lovely, with fantastic coffee and cake, and the bar is a great place to unwind. We also appreciated the free mini-bar in the room stocked with water, cola, and beer.

This is a truly awesome hotel with a very unique decor. The rooms are great. The restaurant and the bar are also great - so great that both venues always have a crowd. The location is great as it is near the old town. It is also across the street from the Munich Hbf Rail station to where you can take the S airport train to the airport. That is not only convenient, but also, so efficient. The same cannot be said about Deutsche Bahn regional rail trains with its endless delays and missed connections because of its endless delays, but you cannot go wrong with the convenience of an airport train across the street from this hotel. I highly recommend staying at this hotel. It is top-notch, artsy and well located in downtown Munich.

After years of trips to hotels all over UK and Europe I finally achieved my holy grail of finding a perfect venue. Thank you to the 25 Hours The Royal Bavarian in Munchen. A great design, vibe, ethos and character from the entrance to the rooms and all the quirky extras and back. Innovative design, nice touches (a bike in the room for exploring and loved the Swan pillow idea) and excellent value for money. How refreshing to go into a hotel room and find a note on the mini bar saying 'I'm free'.! Oh and not to forget the friendly and helpful staff too!! I missed breakfast due to an early flight but I have no doubt that would be equally good.

The Royal Bavarian is an incredibly cosy and seriously stylish boutique hotel. The rooms come with every amenity you could think of – they even throw in a free (yep, free) minibar and a UE Boom Box if you fancy playing your own tunes. Brekkie was top-notch, as was the coffee – not heaps of vegan options, but nothing I’d knock them for. The bed was absolutely brilliant – slept like a log and woke up feeling super refreshed. Exactly how it should be!
